The New Moon in Scorpio is forming at 5:47 am PT on Friday, November 1st, only a few hours after Halloween and on the same day as Dia de Los Muertos. When the Sun and the Moon meet in the fixed water sign of Scorpio, ruled by Mars and Pluto, we can access intensity, drive, and passion – all in the name of regeneration and growth.
Scorpio season is the phase of the cycle calling us to what is beneath the surface, activating the prober, detective, researcher, and psychologist in us. Whether this work happens in our therapeutic containers, through nighttime dreams, or through the intimate words in our journals, this is a time to light the dark cave and all the treasures that exist and desire to be alchemized in us.

One of the major aspects of this New Moon is the Grand Water Trine between Mercury in Scorpio, Mars in Cancer, and Neptune in Pisces. This triangle configuration in the sky offers a wellspring of empathy, imagination, and healing energy.
