New Moon in Sagittarius
Embracing a New Frontier
The Moon meets with the Sun at 9 degrees of Sagittarius on Saturday, November 30th at 10:20 pm PT. Sagittarius connects us to the part within that is ready to open up to new adventures and move into new spaces.
This mutable blazing fire energy can excite us to step into new frontiers, while also exaggerating how much we might be able to take on. It is important to note Mercury (amid its retrograde cycle in Sagittarius), and Jupiter (also retrograde in Gemini and directly opposite the New Moon) are asking us to take a meaningful pause to connect with our highest truth before moving too fast in any direction.
Jupiter's opposition invites us to check in with our guiding belief systems, to take an honest look at which beliefs consciously and unconsciously guide our way of moving through the world, and how our rigid beliefs influence our ability to communicate, listen, and hold space for our loved ones.
While the more traditional view of Sagittarius expands us outwards into the great cosmos, the esoteric perspective of this sign requests us to find our aim toward the Earth and ourselves. There is so much we can learn from this internal vision. If we lovingly become more aware of our more self-righteous and close-minded patterns, we have more power to change them. Awareness is the first step.
The New Moon is also trining Mars in Leo igniting determination, courage, and excitement. However, Mars will be stationing retrograde in a few days, meaning that whatever new intention we're setting on this New Moon we might have to learn to get comfortable with slowing down the process and listening to our Inner Teacher...
We will have a total of 6 planets retrograde on December 6th.
Questions to guide you on this New Moon:
What new frontier are you stepping into?
What areas of life might be asking for more contemplation and self-awareness?
What new experiences are calling you as you look into your 2025 vision?
May we have the courage to revisit our guiding belief systems, and make necessary adjustments that allow our hearts to expand wider.
