New Moon in Aquarius

Evolution & Revolution

On Friday, Feb 9th at 2:59 pm PT, the Sun & the Moon will be conjunct in the energy of Aquarius. This will be the first New Moon in Aquarius where we will also experience Pluto's entrance in Aquarius. A new chapter for humanity. 

Last year, Pluto, the planet of the underworld, was still traveling through the final degrees of Capricorn, closing out its 15-year cycle, but this Aquarius season, Pluto joins the Sun & Moon, enhancing themes of innovation, liberation, and service in the community.

Right now, we have 3 personal planets in Aquarius: Sun, Moon, and Mercury, but within the next week, Venus & Mars will also enter Aquarius. What's so interesting about the psychological process of these transits is that all planets must first interact with Pluto's force, a rite of passage of sorts.

This month, our minds, desires, emotions, and willpower are all being purified by Pluto. We are being confronted with our darkest shadows, but hopefully, in service of a more integrated self, a self that is here to evolve, revolutionize, and help humanity. 

Uranus, the exoteric ruler of Aquarius, is in the fixed sign of Taurus and it is squaring the New Moon. This can be felt as electric currents asking us to change, and awaken. Uranus is symbolic of the rebellious part of ourselves that desires freedom and has immense courage to reinvent what might be getting in the way of our growth.
