Solar Eclipse in Aries
New Cycles & Beginnings
April is a powerful month filled with significant Astrological transits. The Solar Eclipse will be happening on April 8th at 11:21 pm PT in the sign of Aries, and soon after on April 20th, we will be experiencing Jupiter and Uranus conjunction in Taurus. Both of these planetary shifts are opening new cycles in our lives.
The Solar Eclipse occurs when the Sun and the Moon join at 19 degrees. What is so important about this New Moon is that Chiron, the humble teacher of the zodiac, is traveling at 19 degrees, and the North Node of Fate is only 3 degrees away from the New Moon (which makes this a Solar Eclipse)!
Chiron will be perfectly aligned with the Sun and the Moon at the exact time of the Solar Eclipse. This is a rare occurrence. When Chiron is around the New Moon he wants to show us where we might be playing small, areas of our lives where we tell ourselves we're not courageous or capable enough. Chiron is here to help us tend to the smaller parts that hold us back, parts that are scared of the fullness that burns in us. Chiron is a beautiful illuminator of where there might still be healing work for us to fully embody our soul's "I AM".
Aries is the cardinal fire that propels us into new horizons, sees no limitations, and has the igniting force to charge ahead into the mystery. This is a time to reflect on the ways you might have been feeling stuck or areas where you might have been impatient to make necessary shifts. This phase is about surrendering to the right unfolding of things and welcoming the NEW that wants to blossom in your life in the next 6 months. There's no rush, remember Mercury will be retrograde in Aries until April 25th!
Reflections for this Solar Eclipse day:
π What areas of your life could use more fire, determination, and vision?
π What has been the arch of your story these last 6 months and within the last year?
π What is your relationship to surrendering to the right timing of things?
π How have you integrated more courageous fire into your life?
